Snow Daze will be going on the week of December 2-6 leading up to the grand finale at Winterfest on Saturday, December 7! This is a fun opportunity to show appreciation for our FSS patrons by giving you extra chances to earn entries to win our fabulous Winterfest prizes (valued at over $10,000) and our INCREDIBLE Grand Prize Giveaway-- tickets to Disney plus cash!
In order to participate and gain extra entries, all you have to do is go to any participating FSS facility, pick up a map, and start filling it out by identifying the hidden holiday-themed show/movie characters throughout the facility, or making purchases! This will earn you stamps, which can later be redeemed for prize entry tickets at the Winterfest Marketing Booth. Just remember to bring your map, even if it's not fully completed! One stamp=one extra entry!
You can also play to win some of our amazing Snow Daze prizes throughout the week by competing in our “Are You Smarter Than a Yeti?” trivia challenge! In order to participate, follow us on Facebook and submit your answers to our daily trivia questions VIA THE LINK PROVIDED IN THE POST. For every correct answer you submit, you’ll be entered into a daily drawing to win a 20oz YETI Rambler cup*. We will be giving away two Ramblers per day Monday-Thursday. Then, on Friday, we will re-pool all the correct answers from the week and choose one lucky person to win a YETI 65 Cooler**! For those who don’t win the Snow Daze prizes though, you can claim extra prize entry tickets at Winterfest for every correct trivia answer you submitted.

If you correctly answer our daily trivia question/riddles on Facebook, you will be entered into a drawing to win a 20oz. YETI Rambler! Two winners per day will be drawn Monday-Thursday. By participating in Snow Daze and completing sections of the scavenger hunt map, you'll earn more entries into the prize pool at Winterfest! Just stop by Marketing Row on Saturday, December 7, and turn in your map. For however many sections you've completed, you'll receive that many tickets to be entered into our massive prize giveaways, including the GRAND PRIZE!
The GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY will be tickets to Disney (up to $1,000 value) + $750 Cash OR $1,250 CASH & skip the tickets!
1.1 Participate in the Scavenger Hunt during Snow Daze: go to each participating FSS facility, find the hidden characters, list the character names on your map. Return your partial (or completed) map to the Marketing Booth at Winterfest to redeem for prize entry tickets. Each character listed equals one ticket.
1.2 Patron Entries: You can receive up to 5 stamps at each participating facility for purchases made during Snow Daze. Present your map at purchase for a stamp. One stamp per purchase, $3 minimum purchase. Special events/promotions (listed on reverse) can earn you an additional stamp.
1.3 Trivia Contest: Participate in our Social Media trivia contest to win various holiday-themed prizes. Prizes awarded daily. *More rules follow below.
2.1 Snow Daze Purchases: one stamp awarded for each purchase, minimum $3 purchase value.
2.2 Winterfest prizes will be drawn on December 7 and will be announced from the Marketing Booth. Must be present to win. Check out www.dmfss.com/winterfest for the prize drawing schedule.
2.3 Grand Prize: Each family is eligible to win one grand prize drawing per calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31). If your family has won a grand prize this 2019 calendar year, you will be eligible to win again beginning Jan 1, 2020.
3.1 No “passing” on prizes: if you are drawn to win a prize, you can take or not take the prize, but either way, that ticket will be discarded, and cannot be re-entered for subsequent drawings.
3.2 Must exchange map (doesn’t need to be completely filled) at the Marketing Booth at Winterfest to exchange for entry tickets. Entry tickets awarded will be entered into the day-of drawing for prizes. Redeem map no later than 5:30pm.
3.3 One map per person, must be over 18 to participate.
3.4 Completed prize form is required to obtain a prize.
3.5 All winners must complete a NAF Accounting form to receive your prize: this includes disclosing your Social Security Number. Failure to disclose your Social Security Number on our Accounting form will result in forfeiture of your prize.
3.6 At Winterfest: one prize per person, excluding the grand prize. If you win a prize before the grand prize drawing, any remaining entries you earned will go towards the grand prize draw - must be present to win. Grand prize draw at 6:30pm at the Winter Village stage following the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
3.7 Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes – unless otherwise stated.
3.8 The grand prize will be announced at the main stage. To win the grand prize, you must be present at the stage to win. No exceptions. Grand prize draw at 6:30pm at the Winter Village stage following the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
3.9 Prizes will be announced hourly at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm. Prizes announced at the event must be claimed within 50 minutes. Prizes not claimed within 50 minutes will be re-drawn for another winner. Grand prize draw at 6:30pm at the Winter Village stage following the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
4.1 Prizes must be collected NLT Friday, December 6 at 2pm. We will select 2 YETI Cup winners daily at 1pm December 2 randomly using a number generator. Winners will be notified via Private Message on Social Media, please check your messages to coordinate prize collection. Prizes may be collected at the Marketing Department at Davis-Monthan AFB. Building 3200, Rm. 211. 1 entry per day.
*Prizes not collected will be considered forfeited.
5.1 Drawings are open to entrants ages 18 and older. Must be present to win. Employees and family members of the following agencies are not eligible for entry: Force Support (CC, CL, CD, DD, FSO, CEM, CCF, Flight Chiefs, Managers, Assistant Managers, Marketing Staff, NAF Accounting Employees). Additionally, employees may not win prizes from the activity/facility where they work.
