"Virtual Hop-a-palooza: Quarantine Quest" is a virtual base-wide event where we will be giving away $3,000 in prizes! To get you through these trying times from the comfort and safety of your homes, Virtual Hop-a-palooza will include lots of socially-distanced activities that will earn you points and increase your chances of winning our prizes. Quest activities will include surveys, social media trivia, curbside food pick-up, an online golden egg hunt, and more!
Virutal Hop-a-palooza: Quarantine Quest will be taking place from Monday, March 30 through Thursday, April 2 with the prize drawings taking place on Friday, April 3!
In order to gain points, first you'll need to fill out the form below and submit it! This is a virtual replacement for our typical maps and will make you eligible to collect points, the first of which you'll gain simply by signing up. Please do so with the form below!
After that, all you need to do is participate in our virtual activity quests and social-distancing practices! These will include:
Completing our virtual egg hunt on dmfss.com
Completing surveys (sent out via base-wide email and Facebook)
Correctly answering daily trivia questions (Facebook)
Making food and coffee purchases via curbside pick-up from DM Lanes, Community Center, & Stripes Cafe
Participating in any pop-up challenges on Facebook as they come!
At the end of the week, we will tally all your points and do a randomized name generator to draw our list of winners! If you win, you will be contacted directly by us, but we will also be posting the list of winners on our Facebook page. Flexible curbside prize pick-up options will be available.
By participating in Virtual Hop-a-palooza: Quarantine Quest, any activities or purchases you complete throughout the week will earn you points! For every point you earn, your name will be entered that many times in the final prize drawing pool.
Prize winners will be drawn using a random name generator on Friday, April 3! We will list the winners on Facebook and contact each one individually to schedule curbside prize pick-up.
1.1 Register to Play: Receive One Point for registering to participate.
1.2 Virtual Egg Hunt: Participate in the virtual Egg Hunt on our website, dmfss.com, any time from March 30-April 2 and correctly list the pages where each numbered egg was found at the appropriate link. Only wholly correct responses will count for 1 Point. Find the location of the Golden Egg for 1 Additional Point. (Max points given: 2)
1.3 Survey: Complete the online survey any time from March 30-April 2 and receive Five Points.
1.4 Trivia: Participate in our daily Social Media trivia contest and receive One Point for every correct answer.
1.5 Complete FSS food purchases at DM Lanes, the Community Center, or Stripes Cafe. One Point will be given per food item or Stripes Coffee purchase. (i.e., 4-person Family Meal at Community Center = 4 points; one latte at Stripes Cafe= 1 point; two meal combos + appetizer at DM Lanes= 3 points.)
All registrations, purchases, and activity participation must be completed by Thursday, April 2, at 11:59pm. Everything done after this time will not be counted in the final prize pool.
2.1 Prizes will be drawn on Friday, April 3. Winners will be contacted directly by our office and the list of names will be posted on the FSS Facebook page. Winners must respond to us within one (1) week of being drawn or their prize will be forfeited.
2.2 Grand Prize: Each family is eligible to win one grand prize drawing per calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31). If your family has won a grand prize the 2019 calendar year, you are eligible to win again now.
2.3 No picking of prizes: if you are drawn to win a prize, you can choose to take or not take that specific prize, but you will not be offered an alternative.
2.4 Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes – unless otherwise stated.
2.5 One prize per person, must be over 18 to participate.
2.6 Completed prize form is required to obtain a prize.
2.7 All winners must complete a NAF Accounting form to receive your prize: this includes disclosing your Social Security Number. Failure to disclose your Social Security Number on the Accounting form will result in forfeiture of your prize.
2.8 Prizes will be announced on Facebook on Friday, April 3, and each winner will be contacted individually.
2.9 If your name is drawn as a winner, you will have one (1) week to respond to our office in order to acknowledge your claim over the prize. If you do not contact our office within the given time-frame, you will forfeit your prize in totality.
2.10 Curbside pick-up of the prize on base will be scheduled with our office.
3.1 Drawings are open to entrants ages 18 and older. Employees and family members of the following agencies are not eligible for entry: Force Support (CC, CL, CD, DD, FSO, CEM, CCF, Flight Chiefs, Managers, Assistant Managers, Marketing Staff, NAF Accounting Employees). Additionally, employees may not win prizes from the activity/facility where they work.
3.2 Grand Prize: Each family is eligible to win one grand prize drawing per calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31). If your family has won a grand prize the 2019 calendar year, you are eligible to win again now.
